Question Carter lake

Has anyone been out to Carter lake lately? If so, how is the water level and how are the ramps? Thanks, Doug.

If I get a chance to swing by and check it out I will give a report. The weather report for today thru fri is for considerable rain amounts, totals possibly 3-4" in some areas, that will help. And man I love that place when the water level comes up into the willows.

I've been there half a dozen times in the last 2 weeks. Water level is lower, which surprised me. Fortunately the water quality is just as bad as it has always been. I did find about an inch of clarity in one spot. I haven't checked out the ramps.

I don't fish Carter Lake but I have a buddy that does. Last week he caught a 2# and a 4# bass and has been catching nice crappies.
Every year he catches nice cats and crappies out of there, it is his main lake. He has a flat bottom boat so that helps.
(I didn't see any pictures though)
He works for the city of CL and probably has figured out where to fish, maybe in that 1 inch of clear water!
