Default Cold weather Suit

Fedex showed up today with my new Ice fishing suit. I ordered the Artic Armor by idi.gear. This is a two piece suit that is made from Insultex. I guess why I choose this over so many on the market was that it floats. The extra saftey is allways important as I fish alone most of the time.

I purchased this online from Dave Weber, owner of pro fishing supply . I cant say enough about his customer service so give him a try.

I would like to know if anybody else has tried this suit?

My wife just ordered me the same type suit today. I'm not sure where she ordered it from but it came with free gloves and free shipping. My fishing buddy has one of those suits and he seems to like it.

Like other have said, how much does it cost? I ice fish a lot by myself as well (can't get anybody to go out in the cold with me) and I plan on wearing a life jacket this year. A bouyant suit would be even better!

I'm pretty sure the Arctic Armour floater suit is around 320.00. A regular Ice Armour Suit is around 230.00. If you've never seen a video of this floater suit all I can say is that it is incredible! Here's a link to the videos. Arctic Armor Ice Fishing Suit Video: Watch it float!.

You're right MA, that is the coolest piece of clothing technology I have ever seen. 320 dollars to keep you alive is money well spent if you ask me.

Arctic Armor suits are $320, or $340 for the Camo or Plus suits. Shipping is FREE and you also get a $30 pair of Arctic Armor Gloves for FREE if you buy a suit.

I really like my suit, I wear it in the boat in late fall and early spring, and of course ice fishing in the winter. I haven't needed it to float me yet but it's really nice to know it will if ever needed.
