Fishing Report Central Nebraska Crappie

Woke up this morning and it was a wee chilly, but thought what the heck. Got the boat out and spent the morning catching some nice crappie.

I have started using my fish finder that is made for ice fishing for the soft water. I need to get a new transducer to make everything work better. I am using my ice ducer and it works pretty good.

The lake was dead calm but it was just a beautiful morning

For the couple of hours I was out I caught 80+ crappie. I did bring a few home as my son wanted to eat some crunchy fish this weekend. Here is a couple. I could barely keep up with 2 lines in the water.

Wow what a great morning.

I wanna go! I wanna go! I wanna go!! With all this nice weather and no wind this week it is all I can do to sit here in my office and stare out the window dreaming of catching fish like that.

Good job!! I think I can smell the fish fryin!!
