Default november pond bass Updated with PICS

just letting all know now is a great time to get in on some lunkers in small ponds. Did some hiking in to some ponds over the weekend and they were crushing spinnerbaits along shallow weed lines despite the very cold water. Look for patches of remaining winds, more on the windy side and use a big bright thumping colorado blade and hang on. Will post pics later but they are still bitin good.

Update: here are some pics from another hike in trip on Sunday Nov 15. I had done real well in this pond the Sunday previous so decided to don the hiking boots and make another trek in. Got some real nices ones, not a lot but the ones I caught were all nice and hit like a ton of bricks.

This big girl came out a weed clump in one foot of water on the windy side. Just bolted out of those weeds and hammered the bait. Probably 5 lb plus fish On this day all bass liked black/blue skirted spinnerbait

another bass

a nice 16 incher

thanks for looking

You noticed the windy side connection, i think that the grasshoppers and plankton bunch up there against the shoreline, concentrating panfish, minnows and bass especially late august through november

luck frank

Same here! Got 9 of them last weekend! It was a lot of fun. I used a smaller spinnerbait since I was also trying for some monster Bluegill. Did get one at 9.5 inches.

That's a nice LMB! They never really quit biting, they just change the menu. I caught a couple yesterday and the good old "Slo-Mo fight" is going on. I love it!
