Omaha Trout

Does anyone know if there are any trout left at the Omaha Lakes, like Halleck and Towl? I'm hoping to take my nephew out for some trout fishing.

They just stocked them in there last month. They will be there all winter long.

Lake Halleck is in Papillion off of 84rth street and Towl Park is off of 93rd and Center

JUST AN FYI

Towl Park Pond

largemouth bass and bluegill - total catch and release

channel catfish - daily bag limit of 3

fishing restricted to children under 16, adults with a child that is actively fishing and adults 65 or older.

I take my nephew to Towl park, he is 6 and loves to fish. That is the only time I go there. I am suprized at the bass population there. I have even heard of people catching 17-20 inch bass there, and I have seen about a 16-17 inch dead on the shore.
