With that said, there is a big difference when it comes to pan fish harvest and trophy game fish harvest.

One thing we can all take from this....

We can all work together to spread the word, one angler at a time. Help educate anglers that are on potential big fish waters. And if they are fortunate enough to have a fish of this stature grace the bow of their boat, they will be equippted with the proper knowledge and angling ethics to do all that they can in order to ensure that the fish swims to see another day.

One muskie at a time.

Please give everyone a brief summary of what the big difference is when it comes to pan fish harvest and trophy game fish harvest.

Panfish reproduce at a much higher rate and have much higher recruitment of their young. Thus they are much more plentiful. The larger a fish gets, the less of them that are left in the population. Also large predators serve an important role by preying on panfish.

By practicing selective harvest you can still help out the body of water and eat a meal of fish. Let the big fish go and keep some eaters.

Oh come on, it's more like 1 page of C&R indoctrination and 3 pages of "I hate C&R people! Get off my board, pantywaists/wastes."
