Thats cool they put it on display for everyone to see, food is decent too?

I would like to point out that it could be fiberglass (I have no idea). Fiberglass mounts last a lot longer and are quite a bit cheaper (and the fish gets to swim again), anyhow I do like a nice mount.

If anyone wants to meet me up there and have a beer over the reason I put the fish on the wall, I would be glad to explain!!!! Both fish are going on the wall for the same reason.

Hey teal, no problem. I saw that you joined not long ago, and given your obvious passion, I figured you would get a lot of mileage from those threads. The overt tone of my message was directed more at the masses than at any one individual!

No harm, no foul. Another well-informed forum member is a good thing.

I bet that is a sweet-looking mount!

I was at a patient's house last week who had caught a 41lb 1oz 50.5" muskie from Merritt back in the 1970s. He had that thing mounted on his living room wall with the lure he caught it on in its mouth. It was sweet! Always love seeing mounted fish, just something jaw-dropping about seeing over four feet of fish on the wall.

In the past two months there has been a 60" in canada and a 59" in MN, both potential records, one a potential world record, released. You can go to MN and catch two 50"s in one day.

Just saying.

Only in Western Nebraska.

I am assuming the reason they are on the wall is a classic case of mishandling, both fish where probably played for over 30 minutes on lite tackle, netted with a walleye net, and then died from flopping around in the bottom of the boat.

I think I just shed a tear.

Here's a start:
So. Cal Fish Mounts - San Deigo California

There are a lot of places who do replicas around the country, you just need to shop around a bit.
