The kids and I would be up for the trip. we made a few trips up there last year with good sucess. I also have quite a bit of gear. At least 50 tip-ups plus some jigging poles, gas auger, Shack, vexilar etc.

Sounds like a great time to me! Weekends would work much better for me, but I could always come down with the 3 day flu if it was during the week.

Lets do it! I can never talk my regular ice guys in traveling up there so would love to head up solo to meet up with all of you for sure,

just depends on the dates of course late deer season is the first two weekends so who knows what i would be able to do.

College bowls and late season deer seem to be big draw backs for having it the first couple weeks of January, later might work better.

Do you know how many of each style cabins they have by chance?

Hi all...depending on the weekend, I would love to go... Moved to Nebraska last fall....sure miss ice fishing as I have yet to meet any ice "guys" around here....I would be going solo...so If there was an extra single cabin i would be interested in that...otherwise i could make other arrangements elsewhere to stay. Let me know the date...i'll try to get it off!

There is also the lord ranch resort located right by the refuge. They have cabins for rent as well as a fish cleaning building. Lord Ranch Resort

And it is only a few minutes from valentine if the lodging is not suited for everyone.
