Default CRUNCH Again (Really)

How can one bait be so good?

I now have 115 inches of esox on this lure since May.

Ryan and I fished hard for 6 hours today for one good bite. This is two muskellunge in two trips.

Not as big as Friday's but I'll take it.

Boatside.

Off she goes.

No, it's good, good and purpledescent that is.
Congrats on yet another great fish on that lure.
Too bad you didn't get to see what stole that one from you last summer along with your whole spool of line.

Hey, Recycled Fish did a bass fishing event at Brushy Creek, between Ft. Dodge and Webster City this past weekend.

I was there with HookR2. He had a juvenile musky slash on his bass-sized worm, but the tournament organizer caught an adult about 3' long on a crankbait.

At least a few active fish around!

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys.

Getting a muskie in consecutive trips is not something I would have thought possible.

I should thank a certain new member of this forum for his advice in finding these fish. I won't mention his name publically for fear he will get too many PMs, but he knows who he is.

There was a spot that I had always been curious about and he encouraged me to fish it. Wish I would have been fishing it all along.

Isn't it funny how that works? I was the same way, had always been curious about a certain spot, didn't fish it until a couple weeks ago, and low and behold we have caught anything from gar to catfish to muskie to drum out of that spot......it's all about exploring new waters....

Congrats on the toothyness

I was out there sunday(not in the tournament) and didn't get a bite. We just fished the north end and couldn't go very far down the lake because of motor issues. I got a 32 incher out there in April on a jointed rapala and I've caught a few others on spinnerbaits the last few years.
