Default Wow

WOW!

This forum is like hanging out with a bunch of old ladies at a bingo game.
Looks like some of you spend more time complaining about other people and scrapbooking pictures than you do fishing.

The fact that you take the time to blur a picture before you post it says a lot about your testicular fortitude!! And if you take the time to complain about someone else who does that makes yours even smaller!!!

Man UP!!!!!

Sam here's a hot fishing tip. I believe it is in your neck of the woods. There should not be more than a few thousand people fishing it right now. Your post was right on!

There isn't too much to worry about on those reports. It's my understanding that they mainly ask Andrew how the fishing has been and what he's been catching them on. Andrew always says, "Good! Shiny colors on cloudy days and dark colors on bright days. If that doesn't work, reverse it."

Oddly enough, his reports are always spot on!

I think everyone would agree that you taught us WAY more Sam!!! Good to see you on here!

That's why they're called "internet scouters"

IMO, from what I've learned watching this forum for over a year now, folks that can catch the fish on their own aren't as interested in "everyone else's success" because they don't need the help. They congratulate nice catches by other members they know, and leave it at that. On the other side though, many talented members have learned from sharing too much. For example, I know MA Machine is one heck of a fisherman. He needs NO help from internet posts to catch fish. He used to share more pics, but he got burned, and so he doesn't any more. That's just the most recent convert.

One of the posts earlier said something about "silly childish behavior" of blurring photos. I think the "silly childish behavior" of people who ruined spots or took advantage of someone via the forum are the ones that started this whole mess. No one would have EVER blurred a photo if they wouldn't have been prompted to by some particular experience (except Alex T., he's far too wise, and would have expected it )

It goes both ways. I will now return to spectator status.

EDIT:
Just read Sam's post. Great, as always. He loves to remind people that fishing is learning. I will admit that I will consider the background of a photo, not because that SPOT is important, but what I do is go to the lake map where that SPOT is, and see what the bottom of the lake looks like. WHY did they catch that fish at that spot? That's the question I ask.

I might have said this before but the lake is near where I live. The mighty Lake Biwa.
Okay...I will dye my hair, wear stupid sunglasses, and purple shirt, shave my eye brow a bit....and fish You may call me an idiot BUT at least I know I would not fish at the same exact spot as this guy

BY THE WAY,

I have seen some of you guys complain about things ....which are not a big deal at all.

To me, just being at NE and surrounded by those excellent lakes where you can fish anytime you want...what can you complain about?????

Geee....I wish I was there NOW.

Sam

I refuse to blur,if I don't/can't put up a pic of the fish with the background,I just won't post a pic at all, what's the sense,oh yah so I can take a pic of someone elses fish, blur the background out and call it my own! I guess the blurrers just need the pat on the back to make them feel good,or else they wouldn't chance a pic at all, just in case someone fiqures it out! I will say one thing I do not live,in lincoln or omaha,I don't feel closed in or paranoid that everyones after my fishing spots. So maybe I'm at an advantage here. But then alot of things you city folk do doesn't make much sense to me,but then it is a different lifestyle as they say so I don't blame you at all,I'm just trying to understand it!

Yes that's why we do it. We just want to pat ourselves on the back and claim other people's fish. Forget the fishing information that's in the post. Your the same guy that started a thread about all the nasty comments on this forum? Wow! That's one of the nastiest accusations and one of the broadest insults I've read on here.
