Thumbs up Becoming a Better Angler through Catch & Continue Networking

I was reminded today how much C&C encourages us to fish together, and how much I learn from fishing with different people. Alex G. taught me something today that is going to stick with me for a long time and I bet he doesn't even know what it was.

If you don't have plans to fish with other forum members over the course of the next month's competition, you should send off some PMs. It's a lot more fun to hit a lake with three or four other guys and see if you can all find qualifying fish.

PS - Is there anyone else who is trying to make it through the month all on the fly? You know it's never been done. Scott, Steve and I came close, but choked in week 4 last year.

Great post Chad! You know, we have met so many wonderful forum members and fished with a lot of them. I learn something everyday. Whether it's here on the forum or someone I meet at the lakes it's always fun to try something new. There are so many generous members here!

yup, no clue.

Great post indeed Chad, I've met many members due to the contests.

I'd like to say I'll attempt it on the fly, but I won't.

Last summer Alex taught me the polymer knot and I have used it every fishing trip since then. Looks like i'm not the only one that has learned from the master!

I wish I had more time to do this contest, but I agree..fishing with people on the board is great and you always learn new stuff!

I had originally intended to do it on the fly, as well. PLans, however, got changed for me and my time to fish is minimal at best right now.
