Holmes lake report.

well not much of one i guess. My brother, buddy and i all went out there yesterday and tried for a bit. My buddy and brother where both useing liver. I thought i would give Bluegill a chance. I just used a fillette of it. We all sat there for a few hours with me not even having a bump. The liver did get alot of bites but all were no go's. I guess ill try agian some other time.....

I didnt catch anything other then bait... 3 small gills.

I hope your brother and his friend were not the SLOBS that left their empty liver containers on the south bank.

I have had to pick up others trash the last 3 trips to holmes

Sorry but I get very tired of picking up after slob fishers

I am a 100% sure that it was not us, in fact we picked up 3 worms containers, 1 liver container 3 pop bottles and 1 plastic bag. I too feel your pain south, EVERYTIME im there, it seems im picking up trash....

I've noticed at Holmes, a big gob of crawler on the bottom works amazingly well...the channel cat just inhale the things.
