We decided to hit the ice again, not as many crappie but a few more of these.







I did manage a few crappies.


I had to work last night, so Ryan called in some reinforcement. Nice fish, Bo.

that looks dang tasty right there.

I told the wife I better get out and catch some crappie before this ice goes to crap. She actually told me I NEED to catch some.

In case it isn't apparent, that big crappie went right back down the hole and swam away. I wanted to mention that in case Willie is reading this and wondering, yet again, if the large specimens of any given fish population are unreasonably harvested during ice on.

I caught two crappie and they both went back down the hole.

I think all day there were probably 50 fish caught and you can see what was kept.

Conservation, boys ... only what you need and then just the decent ones, not the trophys.
