Darn straight skippy!! If a scud or GBHE aren't doing it, that one sure will.

I tie my own though as I refuse to stick a tube on there. . . .

Default Grenade

I agree with magnusthebigbrownlab. You can't do any better than a grenade. And if the Game Warden has a problem with it, then pull the pin hand it to him and ask if he is gonna talk of fish....
Plus I like his avatar!

A good old crawler is a pretty versatile bait, in my experience.

I'd take a panther martin, have caught more fish on those things than any other bait... If we are just talking about bass, then I would go with a Jig, hands down...

to clarify, i'm talking about lures. no nightcrawlers, that is not an option in this scenario.

So, just to get this straight, including a 2" live shiner minnow on a #6 bait hook would not be acceptable for this thread?

If so, I guess I'll have to go "ditto's" on the Hand Grenade. In Pumpkinseed with a Chartreuse Pin.

Would you feel better if I tied a knot on it somewhere? A knot and a half-hitch? Two knots? Those are all "natural" materials on that microjig, right?

One single lure...

Hands down, it would be a 1/8 ounce white leadhead jig with a pink head.

Second choice would be a white rooster tail, probably also 1/8 ounce.

The biggest difference to me is that the rooster tail wouldn't last as long. You're lucky to get ten good fish out of one before they start running funny. They're also harder to tune than many other spinners.

The jig might catch a hundred fish if it is a really high quality tie-up.

Had good luck using dynamite.

You tie whatever in your little rubber to make you comfortable.

I had some of those melt and run out of a box in the car once. What a mess.

As for natural material, that flash is made from a petroleum based product, so yes, it is all natural!

Truly, I don't care, I was gonna use a tube once, but never have. . . .

In that case, I'd probably have to go with a Vibrax spinner tipped with some C4 explosive.

Seine net.

Like the beetle spin, two lures in one.
By far not my favorite but can catch the most variety on it.
