You might want to look around the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies site.

According to their site, "The Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies—the organization that represents all of North America’s fish and wildlife agencies—promotes sound management and conservation, and speaks with a unified voice on important fish and wildlife issues."

Just for starters, here is an article that provides some nice economic figures related to hunting.

Good luck with your paper!

South Dakota really brags about how much money Hunting and fishing brings into their economy and what is does for their wildlife and fishing resources. I do not know of a site to visit but do some surfing on SD and I bet you can find some information....maybe NE can learn something from them!
