The Outdoor Calendar that we lost in the transition showed Jason Tomich conducting several programs during the show, and Daryl Bauer scheduled to speak about Nebraska walleye fishing opportunities at a time TBA Sunday afternoon. I'll try to get that info re-posted tomorrow.

How is that lincoln show? Been a tad dissappointed in the direction the omaha shows have been going...at this rate, won't be worth attending in 1-2 years...IMO

That show is next weekend put on by the Nebraska Walleye Association.

The current show is the same old boat sport and travel show, nothing really spectacular. $6 at the door and free parking. It's something to do though.....

You're absolutely right, Fish On. Right guys, wrong show. My mistake. The Nebraska Walleye Association's 11th Annual Outdoor Expo, featuring Jason and Daryl, is Feb. 2-4 at the Lancaster Event Center. (Once again, evidence of a remarkably razor-sharp memory dulled by age. :zwhist: )

Just got back. Not worth the six bucks unless you wanna buy an RV or Boat. Save the six bucks and just go to Cabelas.

Went to the boat show and all I can say is horrible! I walked into the door, paid my SIX bucks then went and got a beer and walked around looking at Boats and RVs. They even had some people there trying to sell fishing trips, NGPC had a booth there, can you believe this. Thats the last time I go to a Boat show. I think I will just sit at home in front of the TV.

I havnt been to the Lincoln show for 10 years but the last time I was there I didnt think it was very good.I always go to the big show in Omaha even though they dont have alot of fishing boats.I still like to check out the new RVs,plus they have alot of outfitters there.

Sadly I stopped going to the show in Omaha a few years back , as mentioned they are nothing like they use to be , other than a waste of time & money ...

I was extremely disappointed by the sports show. Unless you are buying a $50,000+ boat or a RV there really was nothing for a actual sportsman there. I saw alot of cheap (no offense) Bob's Closeout's sort of stuff. While I shop at Bob's for some things I did not expect to pay $6 to get into something like that. I am going to the Walleye show because it is strictly fishing oriented. One thing I really don't need to see are the fishing resorts because 1. They are boring and just take up space. and 2. Most of us could not afford to fish at a place like that. That's just my opinion.
