Taking my girls fishing near Omaha or Mahoney...where?

I'm wanting to take my girls (6,5) fishing near Papillion/Omaha, any ideas where fish are hitting well right now? The only thing we care about is catching something, so we're not picky. I was thinking either Walnut Creek or Wherspan. Any particular areas hitting better than others?

Another option is the "kids only" fishing lake at Mahoney. How is that fishing lately? I could further entice them with a trip to the "tubes" and climbing the tower.
