Default Walleye on the fly!

I caught my first Walleye for the year tonight and it was on a fly rod. I caught up with Scott tonight and hit Wehrspann for about 2 hours. There was no one pattern that work well tonight but, my best producers where the Hammer, and this Olive Bead head nymph that you see in the pic.

It's a pure walleye. 100% certainty. Congrats!

Not gonna lie! I am as jealous as they get... I was even thinking of dropping my own camera in the water to destroy the proof

Very nice walleye! It is way bigger than the ones I catch at the Z or the W. It seems like its head and eyes are disproportionately bigger than its body, did anyone else notice this?

Walleye on the fly is quite the accomplishment IMO. Well done! I would say thats 100% walleye in my opinion, not sure where it looks like a saugeye.

well it is 100% 'eye, still a very difficult task no matter if it is saugeye or walleye to accomplish, great saugeye.

Nice going, Bryan. How deep were you fishing? When I was out there last week, one of the short-polers told me he had just caught two walleyes that morning in about 2-1/2 feet of water.
