The sun even shines on a dog's a*$ occasionally!

Like Eric said, it's a walleye..Nice fish. I tried to get one on a fly earlier this year but didn't have the patience. Good job.
Didn't someone try to start some kind of contest earier this spring to see who could catch the first eye on a fly?????? I think you finally won.

This morning dawned walleye perfect. Grey, foggy, light breeze. I was on the water in my kayak just as there was enough light to see. I paddled over to a spot that I knew was going to be holding some walleyes, and the conditions were so perfect that I was sure that I'd be able to come back to this thread and post a retraction to my earlier statement about FlyBoy's orientation.

Another guy I know was fishing this spot when I arrived, and was hooked up to a fish. He told me that he'd already stuck a walleye there this morning, and there was plenty of fish activity.

Things were looking good. I had a full sink line and a streamer that looked absolutely walleye dreamy. Sure enough, I stuck two fish - neither of them walleye though - but watched this other dude hang a nice 20" or so 'eye on a crankbait.

I paddled back to the ramp fishless, so my previous statement stands. FlyBoyWray is still gay, at least until I catch a walleye on the fly, too.

I must stand on the same side of the 'crick' as Brian.

It has been a couple of years, but I caught one out of Z and two out of W in the past. Wish I'd have known it was something special at the time, I didn't even take pics!!

It is good company though! (so to speak)
