Default Drowning at Calamus

Anyone hear about this? My parents were out there. Not sure of details.

Cant find anything on any news sites.

Be sure to wear your lifejackets!

Prayers go out to their families for sure.

I heard about it last night. The girl missing is from my hometown of Battle Creek. She was with her friend's family for the weekend and was out swimming when it occurred. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

turns out this hit close to home. She and her family were friends with many people at work.

Terrible news.

Her name was Dakota Moler and was form Battle Creek she was 14yrs old and went missing by Homestead Knolls. The Burwell Fire Dept, Policy Dept and Dive team went looking for her. They finally called in the Kearney Dive team to help for the disapperence. They found her on Monday night about 8pm. It was ruled as a drowned. On that same day just before a 36yr old was drowning and people got him out a breathing and the Burwell EMT took him to ORD hospital. I dont want anyone to feel Im not sorry for these families because I am but WHY where these people out on the lake with 30 to 40 miles an hour gust of winds plus the steady wind at about 25 mph. The waves were just terrible.
