Anyone picked up one of the new tubes that MrGadget is offering through Wolf Tackle to NEFGA members?

It's a heck of a deal!!

I'll be there. Not sure where I'm camping the night before yet, but I'll be there!

Looks like there might be room in this park to pitch a tent:

I might have missed this, but about what time and lot are people meeting in?
I'm going to try and make it for part of the time, if the boss, oh I mean wife, will let me out

Default float tilla

Morning is out for me, Thanking the Creator for the outdoors and other things is paramount! Sunday afternoon floating might not be as productive, but just as much fun/relaxing.

The Husker Bass Anglers will be there on Sunday... probably not at daylight (i'm thinking midmoring depending on when everyone else is showing up). I will be there and Seth will be there as well. Looking forward to meeting a few new members!

Good deal, I'll be there by 7:00. I was thinking about down at the west end there where that parking lot is and all the trees are in the water.

I will probably be able to make it, 7AM sounds great. I will not however be in a float tube, hope that is alright. I heard wind is in the forecast for Sunday, hope you floaters have anchors. I would purchase a floattube in a second....If I had any money! I'll probably be getting one for next year, maybe for Christmas! See you all out there bright and early!

I have two small Minn Kota fins to use tomorrow but might stay on the bank if the wind is too bad.

Me too, I thought about going out in the tube anyway and practice for the refuge lakes. That's about the right amount of wind.

I stopped by right about 9, didn't see anything, so I went to church. Stopped by again around 11, didn't see anyone. Whitecaps =

Due to a previous commitment, I had no intentions of making this trip. But the forecast for today was nothing but wind in the state of Nebraska. I do hope that if anyone actually got a tube out today, that they got home safely!

Yeah, I was there right after 7:00...it was windy.

I hung out in the parking lot. A few dog walkers mistook me for a drug dealer or perv, I'm sure, sitting there in the Millenium Falcon. At 8:00, it was still windy and I pretty much had the whole park to myself.

By 8:30 there were white caps and a shrimp boat ran aground and sank over on one of the jetties and so I decided to head for Omaha so I could make the World O' Water thing at Wehrspann, which was very cool.

Sorry it didn't work out, gang, we'll have to try it again sometime.

Well, Well... We waited to see if the wind would die down a bit but went out there anyway. Set up "shop" at noon. Found MAangelr and half a dozen others on the north shore. We went down to the south end, hoping it would be more protected. No such luck.

Set up the EZ-Up, fired up the grill and threw on the hot dogs. Another half dozen showed up. We gave hot dogs and soda to anybody who cared to stop by. By 3:30-4:00 we were the only dogs on the bank, so we broke camp and headed out.

By the time we got things unloaded in Havelock the wind had died down and it turned into a beautiful evening. Guess you can't bargain with nature.

If anybody has an "in" with mother nature... let's try this again. Sorry I didn't get to see as many of you as I had hoped to. Gadget
