Default Where to get a boat tarp?

I need a good boat tarp but dont want to lose a left leg over it.

The ones from Menards seem pretty tough but my boat is an odd size. Its 16.5 ft long and about 50" wide. The only one they got long enough pretty much covers the entire side of my boat and fits real loose.

Id like to get one so I can keep my boat out of winter storage as I might use it to hunt with a couple times this year.

Thanks ahead.

Cabela's Ratchet Lok Boat Covers – V-Hull Fishing

Anyone got one?

I hate how it says for 16 ft or 17 ft. Why no 16.5.

I would think you would want the longer of the two. 6 inches of tarp isn't gonna be hard to tighten down and you'll probably want a little bit of play in it anyways.

You want a boat tarp, or a boat cover?

I have a boat COVER I bought for my 16.5" ProCraft. Same problem. TOO small or TOO big. I opted for the TOO big.

Purchased from Cabela's.

I don't put it on as much as I should... but I've had it probably four/five years, and it is showing no wear.

My boat has a single windshield, so without a "lawn chair" on the "passenger side" it tends to gain a "puddle".

My dad just bought a cover from Cabela's and we are very happy with it. I cannot remember which one it was but it is very nice. I think it cost around $150 as opposed to $450 for a custom cover. It trailered nicely down the interstate as well.

I bought one from Menard's also!!! It was very loose on the sides. I put bungges from one side to the other with a 2x4 under the tarp from the front of the boat to the motor. It worked great, JUST AN IDEA!

This is the one I got from BPS
Orion Deluxe Boat Cover - V-Hull and Tri-Hull Runabouts/Aluminum Bass Boats

Had it for 3 yrs now and has held up real well. I use it on a 14' boat thats 5 ft wide. Been a good cover for me.

I got a ratchet one from cabelas but I don't think its that model, it's a nice cover for when the boat is sitting still but as far as trailering down the highway the straps rub on the splash rail on the boat and break in half. So I just pull the boat uncovered now and the problem isn't too bad, might work better if I changed the straps to ropes or something but that would involve some sort of sewing or something and I'm not really in to that.

Default boat cover

There is a tarp shop just south of the loup bridge in columbus. they make a great cover for any size boat. they use the same tarp mat. as for semi trucks. He will have tie down straps and air vent all in it and it will last a long long time. There #402-564-1515 or 800-966-2800. Pyramid canvas & mfg. co.
