Default the life aquatic on the dead sea

i took a couple pics off to preserve other peoples fishing holes, the baby flathead was caught by a guy named jim.

Is the small one a flathead? Based on the picture it looks like it has a forked tail and the upper jaw extends above the lower. Of course I have never seen a baby flathead so .

Ive caught some yellow bullhead that I sometimes think are baby flats.

Id almost say thats a bullhead myself after seeing the small ones in my fish tank. Im not fisheries biologist though. haha

Actually, I'm thinkin' a baby channel.



Bullheads have a flat "fan tail".

Definitely NOT a Green Carp or a Bluegill, more my line of "fishin'"!

Looks like a flatty to me, I LOVE the dark and light brown coloration on him, awsome!! great catch!!
