So at Sunday dinner at Mom's house Vintagefisherman says to Rock&reel "hey I'm on vacation this week do you want to do some fishing'?. Yeah says Rock&reel. Then Fishman chimes in, "hey I'm off for the summer lets take my boat" Well RR has to work but what the heck I can take a day off. So Wednesday they all meet up and head to BO. Not much fish but loads of fun. Fishman and Vintage decide that this is so much fun that they need to go to Summit Thursday. Again RR says I should work but what the heck count me in.
Rock&reel goes home that evening and feeling bad for the working wife invites her to go to Two Rivers and fish for a while. Away they go and he catches 3 small crappie on a tip from Vintagefisherman. Thanks for the tip! Summit on Thursday, another great day with the brothers and a nephew. More tips from Vintagefisherman, but not a whole lot of fish. Told them not to post any more pictures of me holding a drum! Friday, 4th of July picnic with Mom and wife and fishing all day and eating hotdogs and cupcakes again at Two Rivers, then not wanting to call it quits, they all go to Prarie View to finish of the day and watch the fireworks. Little bluegill, but good company. Saturday work around the house all day but,,,,,,,7:30 that night ask the wife, "do you want to go and see if any fish are biting"? Before I can ask again she is loading poles and bait and away we go, again to Prarie View. Kind of windy but again, a lot of fun. Four days of unplanned fishing. I am one lucky guy. |
