If you want to, go for it. But it's not a contest requirement. Guys could lie anyway if they really wanted to. Thankfully, we have a forum filled with gentlemen who would sooner lose than lie.

No, not back to Rogers place. I just always seem to find grass carp when I fish the river & want to know if they qualify. Maybe a big silver would jump in the boat & give up, ya never know on the river.

There is no "sign up".

We've made it so easy!! All you have to do is print out the control item and then post your pictures of you and your fish with the control item back here in this thread, following the entry rules at the top there for each week. That's it! At that point you are entered!!

You gotta post a fish the first week and each week thereafter!! So hop to it gang!! Print out those control items and go fishing!!

I've been thinking about this and have decided to make a slight rule tweak before we get underway. The rule change is being made so that we don't "punish" a young person for finishing 2nd or 3rd in the overall contest and receiving a lesser prize package than the youth prize package.

So...

Contest participants 18 years of age and younger (on the opening day of the contest) will compete in only the youth division and will not be eligible for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prize packages.

.....I've never caught any fish bigger (or even as big as) than any on that list......... So, if I'm to be competitive there's gonna be a helluva lotta firsts.
