Oh, what delicious irony, getting edged out by a bluegill! That's a beauty, huskerbowhunter.
Between that gill and the walleye you posted last week, I have a question: If your parents won't consider giving you up for adoption, would they consider temporary guardianship, just for the summer? I promise to take you fishing. One of the best things about this contest is seeing what so many of you look like. (There has to be a joke in there somewhere about "Slimdog" and the absence of table scraps. )

I could only imagine what you would have posted had you not caught that hybrid greenie. I’m betting it would have been a fair hooked sicklefin chub minnow. I think this would have put your point totals at –4.
