Default Deadwood South Dakota

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to see, where to go, where to eat ect while on vacations up in South Dakota?? This will be my first time being in South Dakota so I'm alittle spectacle on some of these things. If anyone has some advice please tell. Thanks

I love the hills area. 80% of my wife's family is there. Silverado in DW has a great bouffet. Great fly fishing, Spearfish canyone, custer state park, mt. rushmore, crazy horse, caves, and there is gambling in deadwood and sometimes they have some pretty good musicians in the area. Lots of things, it all kind of depends on what you like to do and what you want to see.

Hey, that's me across the lake there..
Sylvan has to be one of my favorite places to be. I always plan at least half a day when visiting the inlaws and take the flyrod to either Sylvan, The canyon, or spearfish creek. My favorites. Legion lake and Stockade are also some pretty neat lakes.

Obert, I caught some largmouth and few small pike fishing just farting around the dock at Stockade last year. We spent 5 days at one of the cabins at Sylvan last year, very relaxing, very enjoyable.

Stockade has all kinds of fish in it. Have to watch out for the buffalo there though, if you're fishing where they are wanting to get a drink it's a good idea to move, lol.

Any kids along bowhuntergal?

I would give a vote to Sylvan lake and Needles hwy. I was up there a couple years ago and it was really beautiful.

Deadwood has a pretty good night scene as well. I know we partied pretty hardy all up and down the "strip" after dark.

I must sat Custer was VERY beautiful. Just drive thru and have your camera ready. Watch out though the animals arent scared of anything at all and will come right to your window.
