Nice! I wanted to get outside with the camera after the storm Sunday night, but had company so couldn't leave.

Since this is not a 2008 photo I am afraid you are disqualified
![]() Not really viszlaguy, children & sunsets are the most beautiful things you are ever likely to see, when they're in the same picture it's extra nice. But I betcha had to do a good tick check after that walk in the field! Even though our kids are all grown up now, we can hardly drag them into tall grass in the summer anymore after one particularly horrifying experience. |

Here are a couple of pictures from my trip to Calamus Reservoir. Some time between the 14 and the 18 of May 2008.

YES I did get a little wet when I took that picture, but it was more of a wind event then a rain event. I just love when you can see rain coming out of the clouds like that.

One small storm blew in to Omaha tonight at sunset, and when it did something happened that I have never seen happen before. It defused all the sun light from sunset. It turned the whole sky the brilliant orange. So took a few pictures to share.
Enjoy ![]() ![]() ![]()

H2Only, gorgeous pictures! I like the plants silhouetted in the foreground. Thanks for posting them. This time of year it is sometimes hard for me to stay up long enough to take sunset pix. I am an early bird & frequently up by 3:30 or 4:00 am. By 8:30 I am usually nodding off and with sunset at 9:00 or 9:30 it is a struggle to stay awake!
