Howdy to all. I'm new on here but like what I see here. As you can see by my name I like to hunt & fish. I have recently retired after working in a factory for 30+ years so I'm looking forward to a LOT of fishing & hunting. I am not real computer savey so be gentel on this old man.

BTW, you should use the word noob. It's much more universal and recognized.

"You see that noob over there casting a 8" sluggo for bluegill?"

Welcome to the forum!

You speak/type coherantly and can work the smileys, so I would say you are saavy enough to hang with this crowd!!!!!! The only thing you have left to learn is to post pictures, unless you aren't catching/shooting anything, and then you resort to the computer skills excuse rather than admitting the truth.

Welcome. Us old retired guys need to stick together. It is great to be able to go and fish anytime I want to and not have to spend 14 hr. days because I may not be able to go again for a month when I was working.

Default Also out of work

don't think that just because you don't have a place to go to work any more, that you will not have things around the house to do. The honeydo list got real long when I retired last year, in fact it got so long that I had to take some time off and go fishing just to calm downI guess us old guys have to stick together and make sure we use up the Social security pool before the young guys get it all

Trust me bronco, most "young guys" aren't counting on seeing a dime of that money.

For us 30 somethings it's all about the 401K.

Pension? Social Security? I don't even know what those things are ...
