Default New guy here in Omaha, NE.

Im a new guy refered by holdemplyr, and am an avid catfish person. Been at weirspan straight for the last 6 days, have had some decent luck, no big'ins though.

some things about me:
24 years
ASE mechanic
(currently working at west)
play poker too much at horseshoe
married
14 month old daughter
wife is due with second daughter Nov. 2nd
Own a hemi ram sport
working on an old demon.

wondering if anyone had any decent spots out here? I use liver, and chicken tenderloin. I know zorinsky, walnut creek, chalco

I moved to Gretna 3 years ago but to this point I've never fished any of the Omaha lakes... Seems like there are always sooooo many people out there! I can't imagine it being worth while? is it?

thanks for the warm welcome. Just havent had much luck out at chalco lately, got a few smaller blues the other night, and i missed a big one last night.

Anyone ever fish branched oaks?

im never usually out that way unless im going to johnson lake or burwell or Big Mac. Although i do love going to valentine, but thats WAY out of ur way.

time to find another fishing hole, chalco has really slowed down in the last couple of weeks. biggest fish i caught was a 17lb channel 3 weeks ago, then a 5.5lb blue. other than that, nothing worth speaking about
