So I was fishing at Walnut Creek Lake like I do all the time and ran into these two guys tube fishing (one of them being Holdemplayer) and they told me about this forum. Talked to my supervisor turns out he's on here too. Now I felt sorta behind the curve not being on here myself after a year
, but I'm here now and that's what really matters. I'm a saltwater fisherman by nature but bass angler by circumstance and have been getting better at it. Just bought a house in Papillion and hoping to get a boat come next spring.Jeremy |

Welcome to the forum. Sorry your first interaction with a forum member was with Alex (Holdemplyer) but trust me, there are some good ones on here too... (sorry Alex, I couldn't resist).
You'll find a good bunch of guys here that are willing to help you out as you're learning a new way of fishing. Again, welcome!

Welcome to the forum! Who is your supervisor? We'll beat him up for you for not telling about this forum sooner.

Welcome!
I just bought a small boat (14' aluminum w/18hp motor) for less than $1000. So if you need a boat, you could get a small one for now... and a bigger one next year if you're so inclined. Or if that's still too much $$$ this year, get a tube (bellyboat). It would get you off the banks for this year, and would still serve your pond-fishing efforts well in the future. I've found that a lot of the lakes have pretty heavy vegetation/weed-growth around the edges. Getting "out" in the water would help you a lot... Anyway, welcome! |

I'm originally from Florida, but moved here arfter a 3year tour in interior alaska. It was boring and cold up there and the fishing where i was at sucked. The only good part was the northern pike fishing around there. Best I caught was 42" on eielson afb. I have a small inflatable boat w/ a trolling motor on it but its a hassel some times and I want something the wife and I can get out on and enjoy.
