Default Compare/Contrast Daiwa Luna 300 VS. Shimano Calcutta 400

I already own a couple Calcuttas. I am considering the purchase of a new real.

If anyone has used or owns a Luna I would love to hear your opinion as to the quality and dependability of this real.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

IMO they're pretty comparable reels. I have a couple Lunas and more than a few 400b's and a couple TEs. The Luna seems to handle big blades a little better, not sure why, but it does. For the money, though I'm kinda stuck on the Okuma Induron. They've been a great reel for me the past two or three seasons and I've had zero problems with them.

My brother and I each have an Okuma Induron and they are okay reels. However, we have had a recurring issue with them. Okuma stands behind their product and repairs the reel.
