I have always wanted to go to one of the muskie shows, but I never have... Wish I could make it to one of them some time though! Are you going?

P.S. if anyone is going to the chicago muskie show they should attend the swap meet after the muskie show, I have never been to it but heard it is awsome... door prizes, a few hundred people with there muskie lures wanting to sell or trade them away... Sounds like fun to me

Never been to Chicago's and likely never will. The MN Muskie Expo (usually held in March) is pretty good.

I refuse to support Mayor Daley and his anti-gun goon squad. The best view of Chicago is in my rear view mirror.

I have been to both and they both have stuff that is not at the other. You can certainly find a reason to boycott any location as I am not aware of any place that does nothing that I disagree with. Personally I like the city of Chicago and find that show to be one of the better ones

True enough. I still have no use for Chicago.

Default Muskie Shows

Ogre and I have been to both Chicago and MPLS muskie shows on a number of occasions. The Chicago show dwarfs them all, and is a must see for any muskie nut.

As far as the anti-gun goon squad, I'm not sure if that applies here, since the show is at Harper College in Palatine, which is about 30 minutes from Chicago city limits.

Palatine? I didn't think anything happened there.

Thanks for the input! I obviously don't like feeding the Daley machine.
