depends on water conditions. if its a bit "murky" like it is after a big 'ole rain, like we have experienced over last couple weeks...maybe that buzz bait would be easier to hone in on versus a straight "sight" type lure. Something with some vibration and noise seems to get the edge in murkier conditions.
water temp would drive a lot also, to me, warmer water would impact activity, I'm assuming. Matching the hatch would be important, too. If shad are busting the water here and there, would seem prudent to imitate that. Jim |

Fall baits for me are big gliders, big plastics like the Suzy sucker, big spinnerbaits, and 10" Suicks. That isn't to say that I don't continue to throw inilnes, or topwaters but those would be my mainstay baits for fall. |
