Default Best shot at a ski?

I've got a buddy from high school in town this weekend for the Husker-Vatech game. We'll be in the bar all day before the game today, but he's never caught an esox of any kind and I was trying to figure out how to get him on one. What do you guys think would be the best place to see/catch a ski around lincoln or omaha? I was thinking of hitting the Z in the morning, since WT would be kind of a drive, but wanted some other opinions. Thanks! (fyi, not that concerned with the size of the fish, just percentage chances of catching something or spotting a follow.

I'd think based off of your logistics it's gotta be WT or Z. Before this last spring I would have said Fremont 7&8.

Even though its a bit of a drive for you I would say wagon train would be your better bet, I have talked to lots of people that are catching muskies, one guy said he caught two and they were on bass crankbaits. He said that this time of year you can catch them all day long on bass crankbaits, so I guess you might want to try that otherwise I would toss some bucktail or topwaters around.

Good luck,

Well, we spent about 10 hours at the bar pregame on Saturday...Sunday morning, we were all set to go to the Z. Then we realized there'd be nobody left to hold down the couch if we went out. So I didn't leave my living room until I took my buddy to the airport last night.

And no, we didn't see any follows or catch anything.
