Great work, I guess you mean Merrit. Whitetips, does that look like a bite or something left over from the netting done to collect spawners this spring? Either way it'll heal up just fine. I hope you had fun and got it back quickly to fight again.

Definitely not netting marks. I would say it possibly would be bite marks or perhaps an injury of some type. The spawn period is a stressful time for those fish, injuries are not unusual. I concur, it should heal up just fine!
