(mods, feel free to delete the thread...I removed everything from it cause I didn't want a repeat of the main board thread)

I took my daughter out to catch some bass and we ended getting three little Muskie out at the Fremont state lakes. They were the 10-11 inch fish stocked this month. All were released with minimal handling, unharmed. They were sure pretty.

Ogrefish,

What is the best way you have found to prepare a muskie? Grilled or fried?

Did you see any Dorosoma cepedianum, Cyprinus carpio, Mycropterus salmoides or any Lepomis macrocyrus?

Default only in IA

We got 2 Lepomis Macrocirus, 20 Mycropterus Salmoides, and thankfully no Shad or Carp. Watch the eating muskie talk or I'll put a Pituophis catenifer in your boat.

Default getting out of hand...

as long as we're playing latin, isn't the genus Micropterus with an "i"? And the species was L. macrocerus, with an "e".

Sheesh
