2008 Annual Pool Demo & Pizza Night

It that time of year again folks! WooHoo!!!

The 2008 Muskies, Inc. "Annual Pool Demo & Pizza Night" will be held on Friday, April 11th from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. The year's demo will be held at the Lied Fitness Center on the College of St. Mary's campus, in Omaha.

If you've never been to one of our Pool Demo's, you'll basically be sitting poolside, watching experienced anglers demonstrate how to use various lure styles (and specific baits) baits in a swimming pool.

It's THE place to learn how to use some of the most popular muskie baits on the market, as well as some of the newest baits available. Last year, we even had a couple manufacturers send pre-production prototypes! It's a great way for beginners to get ahead of the learning curve - and a great way for intermediate anglers to learn just exactly what their baits can do in the hands of a "master".

All primary lure styles will be covered - jerkbaits, crankbaits, gliders, topwater, blade-baits, etc.

If you'd like some one-on-one instruction, feel free to bring a rod. If you have a specific lure you'd like to know how to use - let us know and we'll do our absolute best to procure it for the demo. If you have it, bring it!

At the end of the demo, we'll retire to the "lounge" and put on a pizza feed.


Cost for the evening is $10 per person at the door. Kids under 16 are 1/2 price. An additional $2 will enter you into the one of the raffles for a nice batch of goodies.



While not necessary, we'd appreciate an RSVP....simply reply to this message telling me you're planning to attend....it'll help us plan for the food.

This year the pool demo will be hosted by MN Muskie guru, and MuskieMojo Tackle founder Steve Jonesi (Minnesota muskie fishing with Steve Jonesi Musky Fishing Guide Service including the metro lakes area). I just got off the phone with Steve and he is excited to come down. If anyone wants maps marked, or has any specific baits thrown by Steve please send me an email and we'll try to arrange it.

As mentioned by Brian, we will also have some door prizes drawn and raffle tickets sold at the demo. Steve promised to have plenty of question and answer time, and to keep the meeting informal so that we may all get the most out of it.

And you thought last years pool demo was good...!
