Just a reminder on how to get a line bin at your favorite fishery: The line bins cost the NEFGA.ORG approximately $85.00 for materials. "We" ask for a Sponsor for each bin, a donation to the NEFGA.ORG for $100. The Sponsor will be recognized on the bin FOR LIFE should they wish to be recognized. We have had a few "Sponsors" that wished to be annonymous. If anyone thinks the NEFGA.ORG is making a killing on the $100, remember to consider the cost to travel to and from the install both by the installers and the volunteers that maintain the bin! And all of that cost is absorbed by the members involved! "Joe's Fishin' Store" ain't gonna find cheaper advertising than a bin at the local "City pond"! Of course, permission must be obtained by the Property Management for placement of the Bin on the Property. This is usually just a "formality" and I place it last on the list. Even if the NEFGA.ORG had donations for a hundred bins, they can only be installed if there is a Fishing Line Bin Volunteer! If we have no one to maintain the bin after installation, it won't get installed! We do NOT expect the Property Management to maintain the Bins! Nor do they wish to add the responsibility! Anyone interested in contacting a Sponsor in their area for a Fishing Line Recycling Bin, send me or Catfishsteve a PM with your mailing address, and we will send you a packet including brochures to hand out as well as business cards with "follow-up" contact information! ANYONE with questions concerning the NEFGA.ORG Fishing Line Recycling Bin Program, PLEASE send me a PM! I will provide you with my phone number and we can proceed from there, hopefully ending with a new install!! Harold F.

There are numerous businesses in the Norfolk area that would be willing to contribute I am sure. I have always thought that Ta Ha and Skyview could use a bin.
Harold, if ya would, send me a PM. I am going to be in the Norfolk area this weekend and may be able to make a few contacts. Troy |
