Default Werhspahn Bin on Handicap Dock

Wasnt for sure were to put this post if needs to be moved go ahead. Went out to werhspahn last night and the bin was FULL. Tried to remove some trash in it (as there was a lot of it) but didnt have gloves or nothing for protection there. took out the trash that was on top but still full to thr rim with what i can see is line.
I bring this up for several reasons:
1.) really glad to see fishing line in these bins compared to wrapped around some poor unsuspecting duck or goose that i will shoot later this year :-) Serisoulsy i am
2.) Maybe we need some kind of stickers on these that ask politely no trash please. ALTHOUGH id rather see the trash in the bins then on the ground. On that same note maybe we can get the funds to put two bins at each location one for trash one for line. Unless im under the wrong impression and the noone minds that there is a bunch of trash in the bins.
3.) obvious thing if its overfilled no more room for line and although i witnessed two people attempting to use it it was futile as there line ended up on the ground.
I am more then willing to clean out these bins wherever i go if they are full just dont wanna be stepping on anyones toes when i do. if you want me too just let me know what to do with the line or what not. thnx guys

It's not like the tag on your mattress. An "unauthorized" person can remove anything from the bins without risking a prison term.

It's emptied now, I got out there yesterday afternoon. lol, didn't even see this post. I was out there to check it earlier this week but didn't mess with it because I was going to be calling in a violation PDQ and didn't want the person I was calling in to come back and take it out on the bin.

Argonia, feel free to check it if you are out there, I just stick my hand down the tube to start with anyway to get what ever i can.

Harold had "PLEASE NO TRASH" stickers made (about the same time you were starting this thread, Argonia ) and traveled to all of the recycling bins in the Lincoln and Omaha areas this weekend to put the stickers on the periscopes.

Great minds must think alike, Argonia!

Thanks for the "No Trash" stickers on those bins, Harold. That's a pretty sweet deal!!

Harold, that may be the coolest thing ever! I don't think that there is a proper way to thank you via the internet. You sir, are on my list of members I must meet so I can shake their hand!

Thanks Harold!

If you're going to be out at the Walnut Creek clean-up tonight, bring it along and I'll add it to the trash bag I keep in my truck. (Look for a white Tacoma with a white shell and a great big honkin' NEFGA decal on the back window. )

Apparently there were TWO bins at that fishery, and of course, it would be the one I missed!

Hopefully, that has been "corrected" by now.

I guarantee you all, that "trip" was worth every minute to me, and the praise should all go to those of you that maintain those bins! I look forward to "shaking" many hands in the near future!

Actually, Harold, it was Zorinsky that had the mystery bin, not Wehrspann, but they're all up to date now.

Who's going to step forward up in the Norfolk area where NEFGA has no bins at any of the area lakes? We have too many good members in that area to have no bins placed... ( issues challenge! )
