Just being "nosey":

Bin Location/Lake: Willard Meyer
Date: 6/5/2009
Volunteer: Crete Youth in Governance
Amount of Line Collected: Nice stash of line in bottom of bin, NO TRASH!
Other comments: Line left for CY group to collect! NO HAIL DAMAGE TO/OR IN THE BIN! It apparently "bounced off" the bin harmlessly, as it did my one-man tent!

Dang it, Harold! You weren't supposed to say anything! I wondered if or when it would be caught. Holdem, Harold put me up to it, I swear!

Default HELP -- Wrench needed for TR#5

Bin Location/Lake: Two Rivers #5
Date: 7/5/09
Volunteer: OBG
Before any of you guys hurt yourselves blowing pop through your nose laughing, I'd like to report the bin bottom at TR#5 is cross-threaded and stuck solid. Do either of you, Steve or Alex, have a pipe wrench to unscrew it? And I do mean solid. I'm afraid it's going to prove too damaged to repair since it's been cross-threaded all the way to the top. (There was no way to tell how much line might have been stuck in the bin.) Can someone with a pipe wrench check it out for me; I don't have any wrenches that big?

Bin Location/Lake: Two Rivers #3
Date: 7/5/09
Volunteer: OBG
Amount of Line Collected: The bin was nearly full, jam-packed with line.
Misc in bin: Only a few pinched split shot and one gold hook.
Other comments: This was the most line I've ever seen in one bin.

No sweat. This was bound to happen sooner or later. I'll get out there next week and check it. I've got a wrench big enough.

Bin Location/Lake: North Park Lake, Holdrege
Date: 07/08/09
Volunteer: Harold F.
Amount of Line Collected: 1/4 full
Misc in bin: found only hooks/swivels attached to some line- rusted hooks meaning the line was "picked-up", not from current replacement!
Note: I put the "Please, NO TRASH" label on the INSIDE LIP of the Bin opening last trip... AND FOUND NO TRASH IN THE BIN!!! "Knock-on PVC"!
