Default Fabulous sauce to accompany fish

Hey everyone. I kind of stumbled upon a great combination for fish of really any kind on foodnetwork.com.

2 parts balsamic vinegar, and one part honey, whisk it together and drizzle it over the fish. We've used it on breaded fish (tilapia, catfish) and grilled fish (mahi-mahi) and swordfish with rave reviews.

Enjoy!

Sounds good, I'll give it a shot.

Will try that. Here is another one you might like. We sure do.

1cup mayonaise. (The original stuff--has to be.)

1/4 to 1/3 cup Chinese mustard.

5 tbs of honey.

Mix it up and dip the fish or spread it on the fish.

Default

½ medium sized onion, chopped
2 medium cloves garlic, chopped
2 TBS + 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 ½ cups fresh orange juice
1 tsp fennel seed

Place chopped onion, garlic, fennel seeds, lemon juice, and orange juice in a shallow, wide saucepan and cook on high heat for about 10-15 minutes to reduce to half the volume. Strain the liquid over fish.

I've done this many times with broiled catfish and salmon I have gotten great results.
