Default Snipe Recipes?

Does anybody eat these little things. I saw tons of them will out scouting the other day and thought about giving them a try. If you do eat them how do you cook them?

There used to be a fair population of Snipe at the Funk Lagoon. (Hmmm, or maybe they were Least Terns or Piping Plovers... ) We prepared them similar to dove and quail. So if you have a favorite recipe for them, you are ready to go!

I prefer to slow cook them ON A RACK above the liquid, and add the meat to homemade noodles (you can buy "homemade" at the store!) and a sauce, or add to a white gravy and drown cubed potatoes with it!

Like any wild bird, DO NOT OVERCOOK! You can buy liver cheaper at your local grocer!

I wish I could tell you. All the times Alex T. took me out, he'd get lost for hours and I always got stuck holding the tater sack and never caught anything?

Now, that's funny right there...

When Alex T invites you to go "cow-tipping" I would highly recommend that you decline the opportunity!

So, how did you get ahold of Alex T's family album?

He sure was a "cutie" back then...
