Default Beer Battered Halibut or other Whitefish

Beer Battered Halibut or other White-fish

Batter:
1 Cup Flour
1 Tbsp Salt
2 Tbsp (or to Taste) Ground Chili Peppers
1 Beer (dark beers preferred)
  1. Heat your oil or fryer to 320 degrees.
  2. Place all batter ingredients in a freezer bag( you will only need enough beer to make it very pastey) and shake to mix it, you will need to occasionally burp the bag as the beer will produce a lot of co2.
  3. Skin your fish and cut it into 1 inch cubes
  4. Place fish into batter bag and knead around to completely cover it, then drop the individual pieces of fish into the hot oil.
  5. Cook until fish is flaky about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy
