Opinion Needed Colorado skiing

A couple of friends, my wife, and I are taking a ski trip this winter. The other guy going and I have skied before, but my wife and the other girl have never been. I have been to Copper, Breck, and Keystone. We are looking at Loveland. Sounds like a smaller place without any expert runs, but it is about half as expensive as the others. Anyone been to Loveland before? Some of the negative reviews was that it is hit pretty hard by the wind and that it ices up, but it seemed like those other mountains iced up in the afternoon also. I am not an expert, but I do like to push it on more challenging trails. Do you think Loveland would be a good spot for two female beginners and a couple of flatlander guys that like to fall down a mogul trail a couple of times a day?

Review Hero of the Underground: Jason Peter

10 out of 10 for me.
The whole biography is 276 pages but I finished it in about 3 hours. All in all it was THE BEST BOOK I have ever read, it was very "colorful" in language, and showed Peters triumphs, and also Peter's lows, like when he was tweaking after he suffered a career ending injury let my just type the first paragraph of the book on here.
I wasn't afraid of death. How could I be? I lived under death's shadow every day. When you swallow sixty Vicodin, twenty sleeping pills, drink a bottle of vodka, and still survive, a certain sense of invulnerability stays with you. When you continually use drugs with the kind of reckless determination that I did, the limit to how much heroin or crack you can ingest is not defined by dollar amounts but by the amounts your body can withstand without experiencing a seizure or respiratory failure. Yet at the end of every binge, every night of lining up six, seven, eight crack pipes and hitting them one after the other bam! bam! bam! every night of smoking and snorting bag after bag of heroin... after all of that, when you still wake up to see the same dirty sky over you as the night before, you start to think that instead of dying, maybe your punishment is to live-to be stuck in this purgatory of self-abuse and misery for an eternity. Sometimes you start to think that death would come as a blessed relief... As you can tell it just GRABS you and won't let go. This book is a steal at the $6 Amazon.com is asking for it!!!

Just got back from a weekend trip to Chicago to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. One stop that is a must is shopping and eating at Mitsuwa Market in Arlington Heights. Unfortunatley, my sushi and ramen eating were delayed by the public portioning of a 400 pound bluefin tuna. It was a madhouse!

"The king of Tuna, a over 400 pound Bluefin Tuna, will be curved up
into Sashimi pieces right in front of you in a moment!
It is a rare occasion to see this kind of performance, even in Japan.

The ultimate technique of a single sweep by “SAMURAI” who thoroughly
mastered the knowledge of this monster.
You would have an breath-taking moment with its dramatic scene.

Please visit our annual thrilling event and experience fresh, superlative taste of Tuna."

here's an interesting article...primarily presented in 'opinion' form...but I found some really interesting ideas stuck 'here and there' inside...some of the more intriguing are Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) and the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation (AMO).

events that seem to take 20-40 years to occur...

It's also a fascinating article in that it provides a brief insight into continued scientific study to learn more...and indicates that we are far from a 'final answer' with apologies to 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire'...
