Took my first ever trip to Mexico last month, for a wedding. The family and I visited Cabo San Lucas and had a very nice time. Talk about extremes, everything from the rich and famous to the poor and homeless. Just for the benefit of discussion we're somewhere in between.
Ok, back to the topic. After we got home I told the Mrs that I had figured out a couple of things I could do when I retire. I could either be a glass bottom boat driver. The guy that took us out had a smaller boat and said he worked everyday, because the weather was almost perfect all the time. Really nice guy and we had a good talk about fishing as he drove us around. I'd just have to figure out how to put a glass bottom in the bottom of the Ranger. Or, I could own a bar down there, all that takes is a tarp for some shade, a big cooler (filled with Corona's), some blocks and a piece of 2x12 (for the bartop). What a way to make a living. Well you guested it the Mrs said right....and just rolled her eyes. |

I've been thinking about ditching my current semi-retirement job and applying for work as a costume fitter at Sarie's International Club -- $35 a week. I know that's not much, but it's all I can afford... :d

You know I really thought about it but it was just too dang expensive. We were there for a wedding and also had a lot of other things going on. We did go on an ATV trail ride which was a blast. We also hooked up with a pretty cool guy that took us out on his glass bottom boat. He had a friend(who was a fishing captain) and was going to try and get me on his boat but I just ran out of time. Overall the trip was fun but I was ready to get home to a little cooler weather.
