I was thinking what could really mess with people is to have this as is, but really it would just "hook" two people up for a chat, so each user thinks they are talking to the bot, but in fact it's two random live people talking to each other both thinking the responses they are getting are from the bot, but in fact it's just the other person

I'm sorry to tell you this, but I think it's about time. This whole forum is a computer program, and you have been having discussions with a computer program the whole time!

I talk to all types of people every day while answering phones for a local non-profit and have come to realize those conversations are very similar to bot's generated dialogue...random, confusing, and at times downright torturous.

User: Hi

Cleverbot: What's up?

User: Cooking dinner. How about you?

Cleverbot: Hm. I have a monkey.

User: How big is it?

Cleverbot: Big and it has a waterslide and 15 diving boards.

User: That must be a big monkey.

Cleverbot: My dog is big.

User: What kind of dog?

Cleverbot: San bernard.

User: Can I eat it?

Cleverbot: I'd prefer it if you didn't.
