Default Vehicle Loan

I need to get a vehicle loan and I was wondering about these lending places. I'd like to get the lowest rate I can, but don't want to get into one of these places that will end up costing me. Have good credit, just looking at how to go about getting the best interest rate and being safe.

Default Loans

A credit union would be my first choice. Second choice a bank. Those loan places are usually very high interest rate.

Credit Unions are great for that sort of thing. I do all my banking at a local credit union and they can't be beat for anything. I bought a Honda Fit a little over a year ago. Honda finance offered 7%, my credit union gave me 4.9%.

Credit Unions are the best unless you can get 0 % financing through the dealer.

If you are buying a new auto the captive finance companies will probably have your best deals . That's the industry term for "Ford motor credit" GMAC and such.

If you are purchasing used shop around. Credit unions can be good but if you are a homeowner with equity tapping that can be your best deal especially with first and second mortgage rates so low right now. There can be some tax advantages as well

If you have military or government work experience, you should go with the Pentagon Federal credit union. Lowest rates BAR NONE! I use them myself and have been VERY pleased with them.
