Skype anyone?

I just discovered Skype! Hey, no one said I was the sharpest pencil in the box around here. I've been using it to call my daughter on her overseas trip. Wow, does it ever work good for me.

Who uses Skype and what do you do with it that is neat that you can tell us about?

Before other technologies came out, when I was at UNL, we would use it to teleconference. When I interviewed people remotely when hiring, we used it for a couple of people as well.

I can't believe how good everyone sounds on it! I tried a VOIP thing years ago and it sucked bad. I was just talking to Sweden and it was crystal perfect!

I received my current job via Skype. Was offered the job right after the interview. So I have nothing but good vibes for Skype.

I know a guy who uses it to do podcasts for his websites, including one here in Nebraska and one in Rocky Mountain National Park. His podcasts all sound really good.

Actually, VOIP has come a LONG way. We use VOIP for the whole phone system at my job. Nobody ever knows that we don't have regular phones, and everything is real easy to program.

I use it daily.It is great and FREE.Yahoo and google both have same thing also.It is nice to have a back up one because sometimes one site doesnt work.
