Default Tassels Up

Took this tonight while dove hunting....

Why has the sun been so cool looking lately? One rumor I heard is it has to do with the smoke from the California wild fires burning right now, I have no idea if that has any validity though.

That is a great picture!!

I have no idea about the fire affecting the sun, but whatever it is makes for beautiful sunsets!

Great pic. Maybe it has to do with being so close to equinox. Sun is just at that perfect east to west angle giving a more direct view. Usually the same time of year its very difficult to see anything when driving into the sun in the mornings and evenings as well.

It has to do with the ash and dirt in the air reflecting the sunlight. It was really cool when Mt ST.Helens erupted some nights it turned blood red.

I wouldn't doubt the fires are causing the red sun (the moon was red when it came up the other night, too), but in any case, that's a nice pic!

Nice Pic, fishman!

Astrologist friend told me it was from the ash,and stuff in the air from russia where they have had seven large volcanic events in the last month or so,spewing millions of tons of ash into the atmosphere.I sure looks pretty here though.Probably not so much close to the volcanos.
